The new range of BTS PhotoCards by Seoulmate will bring a smile to your face. This set of 56 printed cards is manufactured in Korea and costs only $7 on Amazon with free shipping. In a time when a single BTS photo card can cost upward of $10, this seems too good to be true. In a way, it is. There is a catch. As you may have already guessed, they are not original. Disappointed? Don’t be. Because the quality is pretty good. This pack of pocket-sized cards contains a mix of individual and group photos and are the same size as baseball cards.
The cards are well-printed and, at first glance, look like the original ones. They have the notes on the back and the same dimensions as the originals. They are not as thick and sturdy, but they are not bad for the price. Some of the images in the group photos are very small which means reduced clarity. There is a very minor color bleed in some pictures which have more details causing the images to be slightly blurred. All in all, the quality is decent. There are photos on other sites which cost more per card and have worse resolution than the one in question.
There are two things which are difficult to predict with these cards. The first is the number of solo and group shots in a pack. This is quite random. Some people have received more solo shots while the converse is true for the others. Customers who received fewer solo cards than expected were disappointed. The second is the era to which the cards belong. Some received older cards, others more recent ones. The images reported were from the Love Yourself: Her, Love Yourself: Tear and the Face Yourself albums. The latest cards may not be available immediately. So, it’s advisable to wait until they get updated.
The cards are durable. A customer mentioned dropping one in the bathtub where it was submerged for more than ten minutes. On extracting it, they observed that the back was somewhat damaged, but the photo was in mint condition.
One got Monster X Cards instead of BTS Cards. Some complained that the cards were smaller than expected. Others reported between one and several duplicate cards in their pack. Provided that the number of identical cards is not very high, the problem may be solved by trading them with friends.
Original photo cards are, often, more expensive than the albums themselves. So if you want the cards without burning a hole in your pocket at the same time, this is the way to go. List Table 4
